I had a blast snorkeling and diving in the surroundings! And guess what? The nearest airport is conveniently located in a different city!
I absolutely loved not being able to communicate with the breakfast staff. It was such a thrilling experience!

Snorkelling and diving activities available in the surroundings ensured an adventurous and unforgettable stay, making it feel like a vibrant underwater paradise. The private bathrooms in all rooms, equipped with bidets, offered a touch of luxury and convenience, akin to a personal spa retreat. The free WiFi throughout the property allowed seamless connectivity, ensuring guests stay connected with their loved ones and the world. The rooms with breathtaking views of the sea or city provided a mesmerizing backdrop, as though stepping into a picturesque postcard. The shared kitchen facilities offered a communal space for guests to unleash their inner chefs and experience a home-away-from-home atmosphere. The flat-screen TVs with satellite channels in each room created a cozy evening ambiance, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
Confusion with building attribution.

The Casa Dei Re Bed & Breakfast in Syracuse proved to be a delightful stay. the database provided all the necessary information, making it easy to plan my visit. the room I stayed in had a breathtaking view of the city, making every sunrise and sunset an absolute delight.
There were a few minor drawbacks to my experience. there was no reception, and the staff didn't speak any English, which made communication a bit challenging and uncomfortable at times.

Snorkelling and diving were a blast, especially when I swallowed half of the sea. The airport was close, in case I wanted to escape this comedic hotel.
Oh, what a surprise! No English spoken here either!

We had a minor hiccup during our check-in, but the owner and his friend went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth stay. They even called a kind Italian policeman who helped resolve the situation. The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely terrace with a view of the main street. The breakfast was a delightful mix of sweet pastries and savory options, a pleasant change from the usual. I highly recommend Casa Dei Re for its excellent location, comfortable rooms, and accommodating hosts.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better - right in the heart of the historical center! The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The continental breakfast offered a great variety of both sweet and savory options, ensuring there was something for everyone's taste. having a parking area just 400m away was convenient, and we appreciated the recommendation to park before dropping off our bags.
One major downside was the check-in process. We arrived within the designated time window, but no one answered the buzzer at the entrance.

The room had a beautiful view of the city with glimpses of the sparkling sea. I felt like I was in a postcard! The shared kitchen was convenient and had everything I needed to prepare a quick meal. The flat-screen TV with satellite channels kept me entertained during downtime. The room had a cozy atmosphere with its tile/marble floor and refreshing air conditioning. I appreciated the complimentary toiletries and hairdryer provided in the room.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the bidet in the private bathroom. It's just not something I'm accustomed to using.

I recently stayed at Casa Dei Re in Syracuse for a week and it was one of the best experiences I've had in Sicilia. The host was polite, spoke English, and arrived promptly when we booked last-minute. The room was clean, spacious, and had a romantic terrace with a view of the main street. The bathroom was also clean and spacious, and I appreciated the use of recyclable paper products. The breakfast was the best we had during our entire trip, with a variety of sweet and savory options. The location in the heart of the old city was perfect, with easy access to restaurants and attractions. I highly recommend this B&B.
I recommend this hotel.

If you're looking to be in direct touch with nature, Casa Dei Re offers a prime location right in the heart of the old city, making it a convenient base for exploring. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a new bathroom and plentiful hot water. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast, although ordinary, is a good start to the day.
Communication with the staff can be challenging, as they have limited English proficiency.

Went snorkeling and diving, such a blast! The airport was conveniently close, saved me some travel time. Oh, and breakfast had car rentals too, in case I needed to flee this place.
Wish they had a sign for this mystery hotel, felt like I was part of a scavenger hunt.

I always return to this perfect place. I never regret it. 24-hour security, Wi-Fi, helpful staff, and late check out. It has everything I need. Can't wait to come back for Easter!

Views of the sea or city: Staying at Casa Dei Re was like having a front-row seat to the most breathtaking show in town. Waking up to the stunning views of the sea or the charming streets of Ortigia felt like being part of a living painting, a daily reminder of the beauty that surrounds us.
Limited key access: It would have been more convenient to have separate keys for the room, front door, and apartment door. With only one key, it was a bit challenging to coordinate our outings and keep the heating on during the cold nights.
